Folding & Bi-Fold Doors
Open Your Home — Without Compromising on Storm Protection
Folding and bi-fold door systems let you fully open an entire wall to your patio, pool, or outdoor living space. Every system All Phase installs is Miami-Dade NOA approved and impact-rated — so your home is as protected as any other opening when the wall is closed.
A Wall That Disappears. A Home That's Still Protected.
Standard folding doors are a lifestyle product. Impact-rated folding doors are a lifestyle product that also meets the same hurricane code requirements as every other opening in your home. All Phase installs folding and bi-fold systems that pass Miami-Dade's High Velocity Hurricane Zone testing — the most demanding impact standard in the country — so you never have to choose between the open-air living you want and the storm protection your home needs.
Configurations
Any Configuration That Fully Opens a Wall
Folding door systems are available in a wide range of panel counts, swing directions, and stacking configurations. The right layout depends on your opening width, which side you want the operating panels to stack on, and how much clear opening you need when the doors are fully open.
Bi-Fold Doors
Up to 16 ft wideTwo or more panels hinged together that fold and stack against one or both jambs when open. The most common folding door configuration — clean, reliable, and available in 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-panel layouts. Panels fold in pairs, so an even panel count stacks evenly on one side; odd counts split across both jambs.
Multi-Fold / Accordion Doors
Up to 30 ft wideSix or more panels that accordion-fold and stack compactly at one or both ends of the opening. Ideal for wide openings where a standard bi-fold would leave too many panels stacked at the jamb. Creates a nearly unobstructed clear opening across the full width of the wall.
Pocket / Stacking Systems
Custom to openingPanels slide and stack into a recessed pocket in the wall, completely disappearing when open. The cleanest sightline of any folding system — when fully open, there is no visible door hardware or stacked panels at the jamb. Requires a pocket cavity in the wall framing, making this a better fit for new construction or major renovation projects.
Corner Folding Systems
Custom to openingTwo runs of folding panels that meet at a corner post — or a post-free corner when the structural design allows. When both runs are open, the entire corner of the home disappears, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the outdoor space on two sides simultaneously.
Impact-Rated — Not Just Decorative
Every Panel Is a Protected Opening
A folding door system that isn't impact-rated is a liability in South Florida. Here's what Miami-Dade NOA approval means for a folding door system.
Laminated impact glass in every panel
Each panel contains laminated glass with a PVB or SGP interlayer — the same construction used in impact windows. The glass may crack under extreme impact but the interlayer holds the fragments in place, maintaining the building envelope.
Reinforced aluminum frames and hinges
Impact-rated folding door frames are engineered to resist the design pressure loads specified in the Florida Building Code for your wind zone. Hinges, locks, and hardware are tested as part of the NOA — not afterthoughts.
Miami-Dade NOA approval
Every folding door system All Phase installs carries a current Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance — the most rigorous product approval in the US. NOA approval is required for installation in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone and is the credential your insurance carrier needs for the opening protection credit.
Qualifies for wind mitigation insurance credit
Impact-rated folding doors count as protected openings on your wind mitigation inspection, the same as any impact window or door. Non-impact folding doors — even high-end European systems — do not qualify and leave your wind premium unreduced.
The Lifestyle Upgrade
What a Folding Door System Actually Changes
The wall becomes optional
When the panels are folded back, the boundary between your interior and your outdoor space disappears. Your living room, kitchen, or dining area extends directly onto the patio or pool deck — no threshold, no visual break, no sense of separation.
Natural light and airflow without compromise
Even when closed, a folding door system is almost entirely glass — flooding the interior with natural light and framing the outdoor view. When open, the full width of the opening is available for airflow, eliminating the need for air conditioning on mild South Florida evenings.
Entertaining changes completely
Guests move freely between inside and outside. Food, conversation, and activity flow across what used to be a wall. The distinction between an indoor party and an outdoor party stops existing.
Property value and buyer appeal
Indoor/outdoor living is one of the most sought-after features in South Florida real estate. A properly installed, impact-rated folding door system is a meaningful upgrade that buyers recognize and appraisers value — especially when it comes with a closed permit and NOA documentation.

The Installation Process
What to Expect
Free in-home assessment
We measure the opening, assess the wall framing and structural conditions, and confirm whether a bi-fold, accordion, or pocket system is the right fit. Folding door installations require more structural preparation than standard window replacements — we identify any framing work upfront.
Product selection & written quote
We recommend the right manufacturer, panel configuration, glass package, and hardware finish for your opening and budget. You receive a written quote with full product specs and NOA documentation.
Permit & HOA approval
All Phase handles the building permit application and provides the complete NOA documentation package for HOA approval. Folding door permits are more involved than standard window permits — we manage the process so you don't have to.
Installation
Our crews prepare the opening, install the track and frame system, hang the panels, and adjust the hardware for smooth, even operation. Most folding door installations are completed in one to two days depending on panel count and opening conditions.
Inspection & closeout
We schedule and pass the building inspection. You receive the closed permit, NOA documentation, and the wind mitigation inspection package — everything your insurance carrier needs to apply the opening protection credit.
